Since 1987 A World of Golf International ("AWGI") has been one of the leading European
golf companies, offering a wide range of services
AWGI has designed over 100 golf courses, and has managed over 30 golf projects.
AWGI has a combined 100 years of experience in golf course and facility management
Traditionally the focus of AWGI has been the design, construction and operational
management of golf courses and facilities
Landmark courses designed and/or constructed by AWGI include Matfen Hall, Burgham
Park and High Lee. Facilities that AWGI has managed include Gosforth Park, Forest
Of Arden and Burgham Park
AWGI has recently expanded the scope and focus of its business into another key
area:
- Golf project development and new operations with in particular the creation of new
Master Golf Academies which will be strategically located in the UK
- Master Golf Academies will also be developed with partners outside of the UK
AWGI is uniquely positioned to develop and manage these new golf facilities effectively
on the back of its successful experience in operational management and recent expansion
of the team
To increase its focus on development and management AWGI has created specific financial
relationships focussed on, funding, capital raising and business planning
