Master Golf Academies
One of the most exciting recent developments in golf, Master Golf is rapidly developing a network of golf starter centres which will combine state of the art learning, with a family friendly environment.
This unique concept of 'sport for all' will provide a facility for experienced players, beginners and 'fun' players alike and will include retail and eating experiences.
Master Golf Academies Ltd (MGA) was set up in May 2009 by AWGI. Its concept has been developed to take account of changes in the golf and leisure markets over the past 20 years.
The main strand is the ‘Master Golf Academy’ which is a relatively new concept in the leisure market.
The traditional golf venue in the UK - a golf course with limited practice facilities, does not completely satisfy the requirements of the target market and especially the market for:
- Beginners
- Families
- Corporate Entertainment
In addition the modern leisure market is attracted to the out of town, multi-activity site which combines a number of leisure experiences including sport, fun activities, retail and eating out.
MGA Ltd’s purpose is to set up a series of centres in the UK which are targeted at the broad golf/sport/leisure market. These centres will contain:
- A purpose built golf driving range
- A 9 hole practise golf course
- Retail facility
- Restaurant/club house
- High Performance Golf Academy
- Beginners Golf Academy
